Blueberry Peach Cobbler

Blueberry Peach Cobbler (this is a recipe that my sister, Sandy, got from
from Paula Deen: Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler)

Ingredients:

2 cans (16 oz.) of sliced peaches

1 pint fresh blueberries

1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix

1/3 cup Granulated sugar

Ground cinnamon

Topping:

2 1/4 cups Bisquick baking mix

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 stick melted butter

1/2 cup milk

Cinnamon sugar

1 Ziploc bag (quart size or larger)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a dutch oven, stir one can of peaches (with liquid), one can of peaches without liquid, blueberries, 1/2 cup Bisquick, 1/3 cup sugar, and a dash of cinnamon. Set aside while you make the topping.

To make the topping, open the Ziploc bag and pour in 2 1/4 cups of Bisquick, 1/4 cup sugar, melted butter, and milk. Zip it and shake the bag so everything is mixed together. Then drop the mixture on top of the peach/blueberry mixture (just like you drop biscuits when you make them from scratch). Sprinkle everything with cinnamon sugar.

Bake in the oven for 30 – 45 minutes or until the topping rises and gets “crusty” brown.

Depending on the size of helpings, this will serve about 8 people.
